Florida a Target fo Foreign Investors

Florida is a definite growth market with 23% of foreign investors choosing that state to invest. This influx of cash has the real estate in Florida moving forward in investor niche markets. Condos are the most popular for foreign investors with condo prices in Sth Florida showing an 86% increase in value in the last year. Central Florida has lagged behind, but is now the focus for value, particularly in the suburbs of Orlando where an abundance of cheap, newer properties creates and ideal environment for value and cash flow investing.

Poinciana in the SW of Orlando is exceptionally good for value now, with large, newer homes selling for 50% of their construction cost. With plenty of foreclosures and a good supply of stock, we see this area is ripe for entry while the Aussie dollar is still dominating the US currency.
